The Gettysburg Festival of Races is thrilled to support the charitable work of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Participants who fundraise the minimum amount for this worthy cause receive a FREE race entry.
As of the summer of 2019, 2L Race Services through the Gettysburg North-South Marathon, the Gettysburg Blue-Gray Half Marathon, and the 2L Race Services 5K has donated over $75,000 to local, regional, and national non-profit organizations from the proceeds of this event.

Fundraising Requirements & Details
- The first 20 people who fundraise a minimum of $500 will get a FREE entry into the Gettysburg North-South Marathon
- The first 20 people who fundraise a minimum of $250 will get a FREE entry into the Gettysburg Blue-Gray Half Marathon
- The first 20 people who fundraise a minimum of $100 will get a FREE entry into the 2L Race Services 5K
- 100% of the funds go directly to helping severely injured veterans, and their families, have everything they need to live full and productive lives

- Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members – veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction

The Gettysburg Festival of Races has worked with many local groups, such as the Girl Scouts, 4-H Club, Puppy Raisers, and area cross country programs. Each has earned thousands of dollars for their groups by providing volunteer support for the race festival.
