Blue-Gray Half Marathon

COURSE INFORMATION

The Gettysburg Blue-Gray Half Marathon starts and finishes at the Eisenhower Conference Center. After turning left out of the complex onto Emmitsburg Road, then it winds through the hilly back roads of southern Adams County. On the way to a turnaround in the neighboring state of Maryland, the course crosses the Mason-Dixon Line.

BLUE-GRAY HALF MARATHON QUICK FACTS
  • You must be at least 11 years of age to take part in the Half Marathon. Anyone who is 11-17 will need to have an adult or guardian sign the registration form on their behalf.
  • The course time limit is six hours making the event very walker friendly.
  • The half marathon will take place on Sunday, April 28th, 2024 at 8:00 am.
  • The participant limit is 1500 for the 1/2 marathon.
  • If you are 16 or older, you must have your ID to pick up your race number – NO EXCEPTIONS
ENTRY FEES
  • $75 Before January 1, 2023
  • $85 January 1 — March 29, 2024
  • $95 March 30, 2024 — through Race Day
Seeded Runners

Runners who have met the following standards will be considered for complimentary entry into the Gettysburg Blue-Gray Half Marathon.

Women

  • 1:30 or faster within the past two years

Men

  • 1:15 or faster within the past two years

  • Fundraise for the Paralyzed Veterans of America and get a FREE ENTRY!
  • Raise a minimum of $250 to get a FREE entry into the Blue-Gray Half Marathon
  • 100% of the funds go directly to helping severely injured veterans, and their families, have everything they need to live full and productive lives

  • Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members – veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction
